Use a Dedicated Swimsuit Cleaner
Dedicated swimsuit cleaners have a neutralizing agent designed to get rid of chlorine hence neutralizing the smell. You can grab a container off Amazon at affordable costs and keep using it all summer long.
Soak the Swimsuit in White Vinegar
Vinegar is quite a potent chemical that comes in handy in a wide range of applications around the house. You can use it to neutralizing the chlorine smell at zero risks. Use one part white vinegar and 8 parts water.
Soak the swimsuit in the formula press on the fabric so that the mixture flows through the fabric. After a couple of minutes, remove your bathing suit and roll it in a towel to soak off the excess water from the padding or fabric before drying it in the shade.
Using Vinegar and Baking Soda in Rinse Cycle
If your bathing suit is machine washable, you can add half a cup of baking soda and white vinegar into the rinse cycle. Allow the washing machine to finish the cycle and air dry the swimsuit.
Spray the Suit With Vodka
Vodka isn’t just good for the spirit. No. It’s also good at cleaning. Put some vodka in a spray bottle and douse your bathing suit with it. The alcohol in the vodka will neutralize the smell of chlorine and dry off very fast.
